“Does the raised edge/lip go all the way around the sides, top and bottom? Or just the top and bottom? I realize that all the way around kind of defeats the purpose of the edge for people who use that feature, but I'm tired of cracked edges on my screen.”

I am using the edge feature and it is not a problem with this Otterbox case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The raised edge of the Otterbox is only on the top and bottom, providing access to the curved edges of the screen. The edge screen is definitely easier to use without the case because the sides of the case limit access to the edge screen. The edge screen is still fully functional with the case but takes some getting used to. The case does an excellent job protecting the phone, even without a screen protector. I've dropped, kicked, and stepped on my phone (face down) without damaging the screen. I find that adjusting to how I touch the edge screen is preferable to a cracked screen.
