“We can’t figure out to open the otter box defender case for iPad 7th generation to put iPad inside. Completed step 1 step 2 can’t peel away and remove outer silicone casing. Instructions don’t match Please help!!!”

Use a small screwdriver or something pointed in the seam next to the screen. Lift up to get under the edge to get it started to separate

Please try again later.It is very stiff out of box, but Silicone will just pull off when you start to get it separated from the hard plastic shell, the shell has tabs you will need to lift to separate the screen cover from the back of the shell. Once you have done this line up the camera with camera hole on back shell and snap screen cover back on and slip silicone back over shell making sure charging port and camera are in correct position. It is great protection against drops, I have have used otter box defender on multiple devices for years.
