A:AnswerI purchased the Otterbox Defender iPad 7th Gen and Apple iPad Smart Keyboard based on the reply by 'CommunityAnswer' above stating 'Yes,this is compatible with iPad smart keyboard'. But having both pieces in hand I don't see how that's possible that they are compatible. The smart keyboard relies connecting via 3 magnetic circles on the side of the iPad, but the Otterbox Defender case seems to cover those completely with the hard plastic and silicone. If someone has actually made this work I'd appreciate a how to.
A:AnswerI emailed Otterbox to ask them if their 7th gen iPad defender case would fit the 8th gen IPAD and this is the response I got from their customer service:
“It will sadly not fit the 7th Gen Defender :(
The iPad 8th Gen will have it's own Defender Series case”
They told me to check back in the next two weeks and hopefully the 8th gen defender will be released.
Sorry....I have to wait until then too.
A:AnswerIt doesn’t have a glass screen saver that is formed to the phone but it does cover the screen With a plastic cover and you are able to still operate the phone completely I love mine.
