Anyone bought this and installed a 3rd party screen protector? Otterbox stated they will not make a screen protector for s10 series. null

I know this is 6 months old now, but i just came across it. I put the cheap screen covers on mine. The edges were a pain because the case makes them pull up a little bit, but it still works fine and i like my screen having an extra layer of protection. I bought them on Ebay, and the page had a video on how to put it on and everything.

We were informed by Best Buy staff that the new Galaxy S10 has a built in screen protector, and an additional one is not necessary.

The salesman that assisted me with the purchase of my phone said that the S10 comes with the screen protector already on it. He advised me to be careful not to remove the thin clear covering because that is the protector and is to remain on the phone.

I have the S10 Samsung phone and bought the screen protector from my carrier and installed it on the phone prior to putting in the Otterbox. I've had three Otterbox products for the various phones over the years and never bought a screen protector for the outside of the Otterbox screen since I didn't feel a need to do so. Not sure if this answered your question but wanted to share what has worked for me with this product.

The one that came on the phone is the best with a case , supports fingerprint sensor and works with the otterbox defender. I took mine off and have not found another one that works with it. I have tried 2 . I am going to install the Gadget Guard Liquid screen protection with $250.00 screen replacement insurance. I already had to replace my screen!! UAG and the screen protector that came installed did not protect it when I fell and the phone when flying on the road.

The S10 comes with a screen protector on it already. You can put a stronger protector on it but you'd need to remove the original one first so it doesn't interfere with the screen sensitivity.

I haven't installed a screen protector as Samsung shipped the phone with one pre-installed. From what I read, if you install one, you have to make sure that there are no air pockets of any kind between the protector and the glass or the thumbprint reader will not work. For what it's worth, the thumb reader is pretty hinky, at least so far and is no where near as easy to use as the old version on my S7.

Don't use a screen protector just yet on it ... Samsung says they are coming up with a protector soon that will work better than the previous ones for the scanner.
