I think the answer to this is yes. Go to the Otterbox (or whatever manufacturers) website and check out the case you are interested in. Should say if protective screen can be removed. When I bought my Otterbox case for my Galazy S7, I was able to remove the clear plastic protector without damaging the rest of the case.
