This isn't a phone case, you'll simply need to connect your USB/Lightning cable from your phone to the charger and press the power button on the power pack.

Most chargers have some battery life when bought you simple remove the usb from box and attach to both phone and battery. Press the button and the charging begins. If it needs to be charged before hand it only comes with the usb cable and it would get connected to the wall charger

Please try again later.Like most power packs (axillary/external power supplies) this one appears to be simply a storage batter that you would charge up after it is used, that you simply plug your normal charging cord into it and then into your device, esp your phone. Pay close attention to what cord will work with it and connect to your device. It says a USB micro type A. Which may be the newer type that allows you to plug it in without having to be turned correctly. No up or down side to the plug.
