• Neither really. It's somewhat flexible, not completely hard/rigid, and the edges are also clear, not rubber.

• its kind of in two layers. the top that frames the phone is a softer, almost rubbery plastic, and the rest is hard plastic. but it's not very very hard brittle plastic, has a little give to it hope that help some
