“I'm looking for a case with a cover over the charge slot. Phone is in my pocket all the time. Have had problem before with other phones with lint & debris clogging the base spots”

OTTERBOX makes a number of styles of protective covers for all phone types ranging from thin minimal to full 3 layers of padded protection including closing all the openings with rubber covers, I have used those when I was working and they saved my device more than once.

Did not want the holster this time and found the new case did not offer the cover. Do not know if or why the holster would make a difference but, this case is much slimmer. I carry it charging slot up, so no problem with debris.
