• I am not sure exactly but I would say 6ft is a safe answer. Also since there is no front covering it only would technically protect it 55%. I say 55% because there is a slight "bumper" at the top and bottom.

• Otter box website does not say exactly. If you drop the phone and the screen hits first, the screen will take all the force as the case doesn't cover the screen due to the edge on the S8.
