“Is this case a hard case or softer case with better "grip"?”

The back of the case is hard while the edges where the buttons are is a softer plastic.

The edges are “grippy”, the have a tackiness that makes it easy to hold on to.

It is a softer case. It is easy to grip.

Not hard but rigid soft

This is a softer case but has enough rigidity with a grippy your side, top and bottom as well!

It is a hard shell, but my clear Otterbox Symmetry shell has a nice feel/grip to it.
