Yes! Well, it does on my iPad at least. I assume it will on yours too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine does put my Ipad into sleep mode by closing the cover. I really like this case, but there are two things to know before buying: 1. This case adds some significant weight to your Ipad, making it a little difficult to hold if you are lying down. 2. This case does not provide any type of screen protector to guard against scratches and/or broken screens. The flap does fold over and protect the screen when closed, but while open, it will need something extra. I purchased a tempered glass screen protector for mine. I would recommend this case, as long as you don't mind the heavier weight.
