• It is probably simulated leather, but is certainly not cheap-looking. It's durable and most of all, it protects my device.

• It is not leather, although it looks like it and feels like it , it isn't. I was also worried about this due to leather would Stain and just other issues. It is nice and has held up well even with my 8 year old using it most of the time. Hope this helps.
