• Thank you for your inquiry. The lamp does have a USB cord that plugs into a laptop or computer, however, can purchase a separate power supply box that the USB cord could plug into then the power supply box into a workable wall outlet. • This lamp has a USB cord instead of a standard electrical cord. It does not have to be plugged in to a computer port; I have mine plugged in to a multi-plug outlet that has both electrical plugs and USB.
