“Has anyone used this for video conferencing? How bright is the light for reading documents too?”

There’s 4 brightness settings so you can choose

It has 4 levels of brightness so it should be more than bright enough.

Thank you for your inquiry regarding Ottlite's Creative Curves. This lamp does not have a camera for video conferencing, however does have a light in which the brightest is 6.8 watts, 374 lumens, and 120 volts. Hope this helps. Marcy Mooney Ottlite C/S Rep
