It has a CR2032 button battery for the clock.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The light and LED display use different batteries so if the light runs out of power the led display should be fine it is powered by a CR2032. Only when the CR2032 battery dies do you have to set the time, date and other functions again.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.When I turned on the light and it wouldn’t stay on, I figured that it needed to be recharged. It still kept the date/time etc, but the battery wasn’t totally dead. I would expect that if its totally dead before you recharge it, you’ll probably have to reset everything.
