- Answer I ran into the same problem until I realized that after pushing SET to adjust the time, the display that appeared as 2000 was actually the YEAR, and I needed to press the UP button several times until it was changed to the current year of 2020. Then the day and date reflected this year instead of the earlier year that came up as the default.

For temperature change from C to F & 24 or 12 hour formats: 1) Do not have the lamp in the changing mode (S) key 2) Without being in the changing mode simply press the v (down) icon to change the temperature from C to F 3) Press (^ ) to change between 24 hour or 12 hour formats. - Answer Bright setting is really bright--like daylight, the lower setting is bright enough to read by. I think even the lowest setting is too bright to leave on as a nightlight.

- Answer You could leave it plugged in but the fact that it’s rechargeable will diminish that battery quicker over time. You can’t charge your phone on it. It’s strictly a lamp.
