I agree w/the answer from Oura. This is not a medical device; the purpose is not blood pressure. HOWEVER. . . the ring will help you realize your behavioral patters for sleep, activity, and readiness (which is seemingly a composition of sleep and activity). I feel that if you are trying to manage your BP after speaking with your medical doctor or primary care doctor, this ring can help you realize how much idle time you have and, again, how much activity you're doing daily. I think your answer would be best answered by checking out the Oura web site, it's very simple to read and understand. You can also YouTube the ring as well. I hope this helps :)
