The “central station” type security monitoring part of a plan is about $209 per year that basically when there is a fire that the system detects, etc they will basically contact the fire department if you don’t answer their call within a certain number of minutes. The OTHER part of the plan is also $209 per year, that allows recordings of the camera videos to be saved and reviewed. I was confused myself when I got “2 bills” and thought they had double billed me, but called and got an explanation from ring directly!
