• Yes. I have mine hooked into outside light and charge it once a day. Have battery in it too.

• Absolutely. I have 5 cameras, and I charge them all (one at a time), with this charger. Usually takes me about 30 minutes per camera. The batteries last a long time between charges. Really like this system.
