You shouldn't but that also depends on the stereo you choose. For example the alpine halo series decks are customizable so you might need a different "smart" harness to use those functions. You could make it work with this harness but the only thing you get with this harness is steering wheel functions from the factory if you car came with that option. Hope that helps
