Q: QuestionI have 05 ram 1500. Bought this . I have Chinese Radio Reakosound rka718. Followed everything to the-letter and still NO SOUND. No steering controls. Red light continues to blink also. Why?

• A:Answer If the pointer is of just a little bit it won't allow the signal through. I had same problem with my jeep. Get a small screwdriver and move the arrow forward or back just a little and it will work correctly

• A:Answer I bought mine with this setup and it works. I own a 2014 Dodge Avenger, but the downside is you can no longer use your steering wheel controls which sucks. The good side is if you buy a stereo that allows you to use your steering controls then it’s a plus. I would research around on forums before you buy. That’s what I did with my vehicle.

• A:Answer Yes and will be able to reprogram the module to add steering controls as well if you don't have them, if you do then they would be able to reprogram to do something else. Also the top 2 buttons on left side of wheel would be added in for other features.
