Well, you probably don't if you're putting in a $100 radio. This retains all factory controls on the steering wheel and other interfaces. I only bought it because I had to for the free installation. They will only use Best Buy stock for their installations. If you have to buy it, price match it. I did, at the time Crutchfield was $30+ less. But if you are planning to install yourself there are equally capable interface cables for less than half that amout.
