“I have the room on the sides and top but not the back. This replaces my old built in. Can I safely use this?”

• The oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface, which is more than 36 inches (91.6 cm) height from the ground. Place the front surface of the door 3 inches (7.6 cm) or more from the counter top edge to avoid accidental tipping of the microwave oven during normal use. For proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 6 inches (15 cm) of space on the top of the oven, 4 inches (10 cm) at back and 2 inches (5 cm) on both sides. If one side of the oven is placed flush to a wall, the other side or top must not be blocked.

• This combo microwave/convection oven has a protective metal spacer on the back to allow adequate ventilation even if placed against drywall. Thus if it fits in a cabinet with proper spacing on sides and top there should not be a problem.
