“Does the sensor cooking work well even if you use a cover on your food to keep spatters down?”

• The food vessel cannot be completely sealed off as the water vapor from heating is what activates the sensor in the microwave. I advise a loose cover (wax paper or parchment paper) so there is a way for steam to escape to trigger the microwave sensors.

• Hi Chad! We recommend covering food with a lid, or with vented plastic wrap. We do not recommend using tightly sealed plastic containers as they can prevent steam from escaping and cause food to overcook. We advise following the instructions from the Sensor Cook Chart, on page 20 of the manual. -G
