Hello! Thank you for your interest in our products. Please be informed that for a 27" trim kit, a 25 1/2" (wide) between 15 5/16" and 17 3/8" (high) and 21" (deep) cabinet is required to ensure proper ventilation for the microwave and avoid overheating. - S
