Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, there is a signal - two beeps in between the "wait" and power cycles and five beeps at the end of all cycles. How long they last I'm not sure - I never timed them - each beep might last a second with a second in between. As to turning it off, I think the only way is to be standing there waiting for it and then hit the stop/cancel button.
