Questioncan the turntable be turned off (for larger size rectangualr dishes)?

- Answer I have fit as large as a 9 x 13 baking dish in here without having to worry about the item hitting the walls. It fits perfectly, and never hits the sides of the microwave. I'm not sure how much larger of an item you would have than that, but I don't believe there is a way of stopping the turntable; other than removing the glass turntable and sitting the item on a (microwaveable) free standing item that hovers over the turning mechanism.

- Answer I recommend the Panasonic 2.2 cubic ft full microwave. We had the same issue. Needed it to go above oven. My husband installed without trim. Still need to finish. But, it works for us! It does the job.

QuestionSpecial screwdriver to remove the back.The microwave stopped working last night. I want to take it apart to get to the fuse that is burnt out and replace it. It has an odd shape looking of driver that is needed. Is this a special driver o r can I go and buy it. Thanks

- Answer Yes, you can buy one. I don't know what it's called so I would take a picture of it with a cell phone and take it to Home Depot. I have one that I bought in a repair kit from CompUSA years ago so I would say you should be able to find it either at a home repair center or, if not, at a computer center.
