• Squared corners with a turntable inside. Will rotate a large rectangular casserole with no problem.

• The edges are rounded for easier cleaning, but it's still a box shape inside.

• I think I know what you mean and I have to say square. There is plenty of space inside this microwave. The interior volume would be a good size for family dinners. Hope this helps!

• For future readers since this question is old.....The top, bottom & sides are all rounded but the back panel is attached flat to the top, bottom & sides creating squared 90 degrees mating surfaces.

• The sides and bottom are one piece with rounded edges. It looks like the top and back pieces are connected with basically squared corners. The sides and back panels (and maybe the top) are not flat. They are indented like a coved ceiling with smooth/curved edges.
