There is not a separate Potato button. Potato cooking is number 6 as you cycle through the sensor cooking menu, which is posted inside the door of the unit.

I bake potatoes perfectly in 4 (for 1 potato) to 8 minutes (for up to 8 of them)

Yes the Panasonic 2.2 Cu. Ft. Microwave has a potato setting; located in the SENSOR COOK selection next push after frozen pizza setting.

no potato button, but one button Sensor cooking and sensor re-heating, same thing I think.

It is on the selection menu. Fresh Veg, frozen potatoes, etc

You are correct, there is NOT a potato button. So far I have missed it as well and do them for 5 minutes.
