- Answer No. You want a VCR/Blu-ray (DVD) combo player. This only plays discs no VHS tapes.

- Answer I would say no. It is not a "Smart" player, which is refreshing in a sense. Most TVs can stream nowadays, but I believe this particular unit simply plays discs.
