• I wouldn’t consider this dryer lightweight, as far a noise level goes I feel it’s quieter than other hair dryers.

• This hair dryer is not very noisy. Previously used a hair dryer from another manufacturer Remington in the same price range and it was much louder and of poor quality

• It is not real loud like most hairdryers. I don’t think it is heavy at all. It is the best hair dryer I’ve ever owned. It does a beautiful job on my hair.
