I would not advise using any other battery in this charger other than the Panasonic Eneloop batteries. The charging technology in this charger is built around Panasonic batteries. By placing other batteries in this charger, you may risk an overcharging or overheating situation. Lithium batteries are known for generating heat during the charging cycle and for bursting/catching fire as a result.
