Will my standard HD be enhanced? null

If you shoot and edit in 4K and output to 1080p, your 1080p will look a lot better than if you shoot 1080p in-camera. This camera outputs good 1080p video; if you're looking to shoot 1080p and get better video, try the HDR video mode which increases the amount of detail recorded in shadows and highlights by combining pixels shot at two different levels of gain. Most sub-$1000 camcorders do not have this feature and it makes a big difference
