A:AnswerHello! It is possible to use this unit with power supplied from the AC outlet by turning on the unit with the AC adaptor connected. Even when you use the AC adaptor for recording images, keep the battery connected. For more information in regards to the recording time, please check page 15 in the operating manual: https://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/HC-WX970PP/OI/sqt0650-eng/sqt0650-eng.pdf . -M
A:AnswerI don't understand why Panasonic answered as they did. My camera DOES have time stamp. There's a clock, you cand set it, select the display format, AND decide whether or not to show the time stamp at the lower right in the picture.
A:AnswerRespectfully, the Panasonic rep here is incorrect about card capacity. When the camera was built 64GB was about as large as SDXC cards got. I just formatted a 128GB Transcend card and the camera formatted it and reports that at AVCHD 17megs/sec I'll get 17 hours of record time. Also the -K suffix cameras do NOT have internal flash memory. You'll want the -M suffix model to do that. As in VX870M
A:AnswerHello. Depending on the recording conditions and the type of card, the number of recordable pictures and available recording time will vary. For example, using [4K MP4] an approximate recording time using a 32GB SD Card is 55 min. For more information, you can check page 234 of the Owner’s Manual of the camcorder. -G
A:AnswerThere is a built-in lens cap that engages whenever the power is turned off. The lens has a 49mm filter thread, but filters can only be used by removing the supplied lens hood.
A:AnswerKindly be informed that this camcorder requires a memory card. For viewing images on your TV, you can connect the unit via HDMI micro cable (supplied) or a Composite video cable (commercially-available).
