• Respectfully, the Panasonic rep here is incorrect about card capacity. When the camera was built 64GB was about as large as SDXC cards got. I just formatted a 128GB Transcend card and the camera formatted it and reports that at AVCHD 17megs/sec I'll get 17 hours of record time. Also the -K suffix cameras do NOT have internal flash memory. You'll want the -M suffix model to do that. As in VX870M

• Why anyone would buy a camera without internal storage is beyond me. I will never buy another Panasonic again because of this.

• Hello! You will need to use a memory card. SD Memory Card, SDHC Memory Card and SDXC Memory Card are compatible with this model and the maximum capacity is 64 GB. -M
