• A:Answer Hi, Alan! One frame of the recorded video can be recorded as a still image. If you touch the camera icon or press the multi-dial, the scene will be recorded as a still image when played back. Also, the number of pixels of the still image to be recorded is the same as the number of pixels of the recorded video. This can be done more than once. [INVALID] will be displayed when the still image cannot be recorded in cases such as there is not enough remaining recording capacity in the memory card. Hope this helps! -C

Q: QuestionDoes the HC-X1550 bus support the UHS-II cards? I heard a Panasonic spokesperson at CES recommend a V60 or V90 SDXC card. I thought you had to have the UHS-II bus for the V60 minumum speed class to work? Is a V30 UHS-1 the best to use?

Q: QuestionI have Sony AX53 camcorder now. When I mount it on a tripod or monopod with OS and vehicle drives by, the final video is jittery. If no traffic around or if I shoot handheld, video is fine. Does this camcorder have same problem with vibration vs handheld?

Q: QuestionDoes this camera take photos while recording?

• A:Answer No. This is a dedicated video camera. However with All-Intra recording you grab any one frame. This is not a replacement for high speed frame grabs. I have an FZ-2500 Panasonic, 1" sensor, 20MP that is more capable for this type of task. The x1500 has better image stabilization, a smoother zoom rocker, the XLR audio input, much longer battery life, and 4k60, whereas FZ2500 is 4k30.

This allows users to stream live video directly from the camera to their preferred streaming service without the need for a computer or capture card connection. The network protocol for live streaming is RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS. Setting up Direct streaming involves configuring credentials and linking the camera to the desired streaming platform, such as Facebook Live. Once connected to the internet, the camera will broadcast video directly to the platform. Alternatively, if you prefer to stream with a computer, there are several software options available. OBS Studio and Streamlabs OBS are popular choices. OBS Studio is open-source and widely used among new streamers. Streamlabs OBS, based on OBS, offers additional features such as customizable layouts (Scenes) that can include various inputs like games, browsers, desktop apps, and multiple cameras. This flexibility allows users to create polished streams with ease. -M

Streaming can be performed using the unit, application software of a device connected via a network, or a server that is capable of receiving streaming video sent from the unit.
