“how far can you get this phone from the main base and still have reception? I enjoy taking my phone outside to the patio or pool. I am looking for one that I can still talk on even if I am outside. the one I have now has too much static even if I go out on my porch or even into my laundry room.”

Hi Marquee! It is not possible to give the range in actual distance since the range is relative to where you are to place the base unit. It is recommended to have it placed at a convenient, high, and central location with no obstructions between the handset and base unit in an indoor environment. The frequency the phone works on is 1.9 Ghz and it is supposed to provide the longest range compared to other frequencies out on the market right now.
