“The handsets continually display "New Voice Mail"... The handsets continually display "New Voice Mail" even though it hasn't been configured to link with a cell or check cell voice mail and no messages (new or otherwise) are on the answer device portion of the system. I am absolutely at a loss as to how to clear this message from the handsets.”

• Your service provider or telephone company sends special signals (sometimes called “voice mail tones” or “stutter tones”) to the unit to let you know you have new voice mail messages. If you are not subscribed to this service from your phone company but is seeing this message on the handset, press and hold down the pound sign till you hear a beep on the handset.
