It is not possible to give the range in actual distance since the range is relative to where you are to place the base unit. It is recommended to have it placed at a convenient, high, and central location with no obstructions between the handset and base unit in an indoor environment. The frequency the phone works on is 1.9Ghz and it is supposed to provide the longest range compared to other frequencies out on the market right now.
