• Hi! Yes, you can either turn off the answering machine completely from the Panasonic, and leave the voicemail from Comcast on only, or you can change the number of rings on the answering machine, to 7(maximum), and the voicemail to 6, so the voicemail always picks up first. -A

• I'm not sure but wish I knew. Some of my messages go through Comcast & some go through this phone's answering machine. Odd. You can't delete messages from the extra handsets either, only through the main phone.
