Yes, they are raised. The menu button sticks out the most and is what touches the table if it's on its face. You would have to push down on the phone for it to be pushed tho. The edge of the phone is a bit raised, also.

Please try again later.They ARE raised, but the button in the middle which you use to adjust the volume or for redialing sticks out more, so if you were to rest the phone down on its face that button prevents the other buttons from touching the surface you place the phone on. And THAT button you must press on the upper, lower, or sides of it to activate whatever action you're striving for (up for volume adjustment, right side for redialing, etc). Don't think you'll have an issue with this phone dialing more numbers than you want if you set it face down.
