Can you hang base on wall? null

The phone base comes with an adapter to hang the base on the wall. I do not have the area to do this correctly so for me it is much better having the phone & base on top of my antique washstand . It takes up very little room. By the way really like the phone even though I don't use all of the features. Such an improvement over my old phone of 12 yrs ago that I decided to replace rather than spend money on batteries. It was having definite issues.
