• Hi! No, you cannot transfer the messages. However, if you are using voicemail and you are keeping the same number, you might be able to transfer. -M

• I believe they will be gone. Love the phones, but unable to use the answering machine part because my phone service has one set up as well and it overrides the machine. Had trouble figuring out why my answering machine would show 1 phone call but could not get it.

• I honestly can't say. I really don't save my messages for long. Record them on another device for further reference if the messages are that important.
