“when I press the pound sign to remove the message indicator on my phone, it goes away only to show up again the next day. There are no calls coming in only a message saying I have a voice mail. How do I remove the message for good?”

I don't know if it's the same model I purchased but the pound sign usually does not delete messages. It skips them for later. I just go to the answering machine base and click "Erase".

As voicemail is a service offered by your telephone company, which is your service provider, please contact them to listen to that message. Furthermore, we advise turning off the Voicemail tone detection and in order to do this, please take a handset, press MENU, then the key # and enter code 332. Then, you will need to choose the OFF option and press SAVE to save the option. After this, you can press the OFF button. Hope this helps! -C
