Hi! You don't need to delete the phonebook. You will have to deregister the handset from the base. You can find the instructions at page 41: https://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TGE632/OI/TGE632_PNQX8639ZA/TGE632_PNQX8639ZA.pdf. -M
