• Hello there! Yes the phone has a feature called Remote Operation. Using a touch-tone phone, you can call your phone number from outside and access the unit to listen to messages or change answering system settings. We hope this helps! - F

• I don't know. I will look in the manual. There appears to be remote access, via a 3-digit code. Remote codes to: repeat message, skip message, play a new message, play all messages, stop playback, turn machine off (and on), erase message, erase all messages,....
