Questionhow far can you be from the base with the handset and still be able to answer the phone? we'd like to use this in our boutique hotel to allow our staff to leave the lobby and complete other tasks (housekeeping, etc) but still be able to field calls.

- Answer Hello! The range of the handsets is approximately 33 feet from the base unit. The range will also be influenced by the environment in which the phone system is placed, and if there are any electronics around that would weaken the signal (such as microwave ovens, Wi-Fi routers, radios). -C

- Answer Yes. It can draw power from the handset's batteries so if your landline is working so with the phone. By swapping the other two handsets you can extend the power off life.

- Answer It has a headset jack, which is why I picked this model. Note its a smaller size than the headset jack used on cell phones, but I have an adapter.

QuestionDo the extra handsets require to be plugged in to a phone jack, or only require an electrical outlet? When I switched my land line to Spectrum, they only made the land line available on the router, not on the phone jacks throughout the house.
