Does the base have battery backup? null

The phone set on the base acts as its backup power supply

I unplugged the base's power from the wall to see what would happen. As soon as it was unplugged, the phone set on the base shows a message indicating that the phone set was providing backup power to the base and for you to not remove it from the base. I then called our home and the base showed an incoming call and rang. Thus, it appears that the phone set successfully acts as backup power to the unit.

Kindly be informed the Base Unit is connected directly to a Power Source.
