Great phones!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. We previously had phones just like these. It finally go to the point that they were just worn out. We had them probably 10 years—give or take a year or so. They have all the features we need—phone book (which we use all of the time—, block number, answering machine, call waiting, large numbers, and many other features. We are very satisfied and would recommend these to anyone.

New phone
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Easy setup. Bluetooth sets up easy. You can set phone to answer by voice command. Display is bright and larger and brighter. Buttons are larger and easier to punch. My old panasonic wouldnt let me delete names and numbers. I hope this one doesn't have that problem.

Good but...
||Posted .Owned for 9 months when reviewed. So far so good, much better sound quality when not using speaker phone. Ability to answer up to 2 Bluetooth connected cell phones is a big plus, answering machine caller announcement would be far better if it just announced the calling number, instead of attempting to pronounce the caller ID info in garbled English.

Stops robocalls!
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I absolutely love this new telephone. We were receiving so many robocalls an afternoon nap was out if the question. Unplugging the phone not an option either with kids and elderly parents. Just blocking telephone numbers didn’t help because telemarketers just change numbers. Setting up the telephone book initially was a bit of a pain, but worthwhile in the end. The instructions say the telephone will not ring at all if a robocall which I found is not entirely correct. I do hear one faint ring and then nothing else. If someone calls that is not a robot and not in your phonebook, they are simply instructed to enter a one to three digit code of your choice for the telephone call to be connected. Small inconvenience for the caller and you can always add more numbers to your telephone book. I would definitely purchase again.

Good Quality-Difficult to Program
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. We purchased this unit to replace an older Panasonic system due to the batteries wearing out....the cost of new batteries for all the phones made buying a new system cost effective. The phones work well..the dial tone sounds very muffled and takes a bit to get used to...the major problem is the difficulty in getting to your missed calls...you have to punch in four digits to get your missed calls...and other functions also take many digit punches to make them work.. It is a good phone system...but in reality many of the functions are so difficult to use that you will not use them very often.

Feature-rich, ready to use
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. We replaced out aging phone(s) with this package. Our old equipment was down to the last surviving handset and the battery wasn't holding much charge, The Panasonic package gave us the basics, plus we now have an assigned handset for each employee so no more worries about transmitting colds (or worse) on a shared handset. All the features we use (and admittedly, there are a lot of things you might want that we'll never use, like the cell phone interface) were easy to set up. My only quibble is that the handsets don't have a dedicated "HOLD" button. There's a soft MUTE feature ready when in use, but no hold button (even though there is one on the base unit) and the soft HOLD is buried in a menu. (?!) We use this in a retail store with one phone line. In a home, it should serve everyone's needs, and the extra features might appeal to many. If you need a second line, the ability to Bluetooth a cell phone and use that line on all handsets is helpful, but if you have a second landline, this phone can't address it. Overall fine for most purposes, but smacks of shoving a barrel of features in to try to please everyone.

Typical Panasonic "step above" the competition.
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.Seems to be a quality product and well designed. Set-up was very good because of a well written instruction manual --- far more complete than what I had expected --- it answered questions without having to dig or double-check for others with similar questions on-line. At least the brand new set purchased at Best Buy was also a step better in construction than other brands on display and I see on the product it's made in Malaysia --- which on-line info indicates is a major base outside of Japan of multiple Panasonic factories. The production (as its within Panasonic Corporately managed facilties) sticks with their "green" environmental manufacturing programs --- something I expect from most Japanese companies, but not always found where factories are not in Japan. For a few dollars more, I'd stick with Panasonic among the competition. More than you expect all the way around.

Q: QuestionWhat handset model is compatible with this phone system?
Asked by BettySue.
- A:Answer Panasonic's answer about the KX-TGFA71 and KX-TGFA72 leaves out an important detail: THESE HANDSETS ARE NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE!!!! Not from Best Buy, not from Amazon, Not Even From Panasonic Itself!! They are not even listed on Panasonic's site!! If you communicate with Panasonic, the answer is that "I'm sure they'll be made available 'soon' ". The system came out last year, but the expansion handsets are still not available as of 1/15/2020. So far th only way I've seen them for purchase is some folks are buying whole systems, deregistering the individual handsets and then selling them individually at exorbitant prices. This problem exists on a number of Panasonic's otherwise excellent systems, and Panasonic seems not to be interested in fixing it. The lesson is make sure the system you're looking at already comes with all the handsets you need.

Q: Questiondoes it have robo call blocker
Asked by Richard.
- A:Answer Yes, but expect to spend some time setting it up. Phone system supports several ways to block: 1) allows only calls from pre-set allowed call list (very restrictive, think hard before using) 2)instant block at time of call; one button on phone 3) block calls from set area code(s) 4)block calls with no caller id 5)callers from landlines can be give a code to bypass system-- e.g. from business exchange, hotels, schools etc. 6) other combinations possible if you are creative. Blocked table allows 1000 numbers. All handsets and base unit can block. Calls into linked cell phone (2 cell phones supported, but only one at a time) are harder to deal with. Instruction sheets provided with phone system are less than clear in places; some programming logic experience is helpful, but you can get a very good basic system quickly. My unwanted calls dropped dramatically after only a week of use. Blocked calls are one ring and gone. I'll probably turn that feature off as I gain confidence; a block with NO ring setting is possible, but for now I check to make sure I don't kill something valuable.

Q: QuestionHow is the speaker volume? Panasonics use to have good volume but every Panasonic phone I've hired in the last 3 years have had terrible weak volume where people on the other end must speak very loud. My hearing is normal, it is a phone issue.
Asked by randyM.
- A:Answer Speaker volume is lacking

Q: QuestionHope a Panasonic Rep can answer this. What's the difference between this KX-TGF775S and the KX-TGF675S. Some vendors claim the second model as an HD Voice feature. But I don't find this feature anywhere on description or specs including the Panasonic web
Asked by TonyI.
- A:Answer Thank you for reaching out to us. It is correct, the KX-TGF675 is an HD Link2Cell Phone System with Answering Machine, the other doesn't have HD Voice Feature. The KX-TGF775 has Answer by voice command (this feature allows you to answer incoming calls automatically with your voice).

Q: Questionwhat is the difference between the kx-tgf775s and the kx-tgf575s
Asked by lance.
- A:Answer Thank you for your question. The KX-TGF775S is a newer model, released in 2019. The difference between it and the KX-TGF575S is that KX-TGF775S has Answer by voice command, a feature that allows you to answer incoming calls automatically with your voice. Another feature that this model has it is Automated call block, with this the unit screens incoming calls before ringing for allowed calls or ends the calls without ringing for calls identified as robocalls, telemarketing calls, or other undesirable calls (Caller ID subscribers only). The unit will play the greeting message for automated call block and prompt the caller to enter an access code in order for the unit to identify whether the call is automated.

Q: QuestionCan this phone be used without a landline — just for the link2cell? Asking in case I decide to ditch my landline.
Asked by PhoneHunt.
- A:Answer Yes, it can. I saw that in the manual as I was reading it last night. If you do not use the landline, you have to set the unit to the cellular line only mode. The instructions are in the manual.
