• Hello. The handsets have a noise reduction and an equalizer feature. When the handset noise reduction is activated it allows you to hear the voice of the person you are talking to more clearly, by reducing the surrounding noise coming from the other party’s telephone. While the handset equalizer feature, when active, clarifies the voice of the person you are talking to, producing a more natural-sounding voice that is easier to hear and understand. -G
